DJ Becki Bardot started her career in the music industry working for Edinburgh based record label Alex Tronic Records. In 2008, she joined the label as a sound engineer and co-producer. She was signed to the label as a recording artist, working on her own tunes and also getting involved in producing and recording various bands and musicians. In 2010, she founded Edinburgh DJ Hire, along with Paul and the company took off instantly.
Becki spent the full summer of 2011 djing in Ibiza as resident DJ for the Cafe Mambo Group in their legendary Scottish bar, Kilties Bar playing to the crowds of San Antonio. She also had the privilege of djing with Clubland legends Friday Night Posse for the massive Clubland pre-parties. During her time in Ibiza, she dj’ed numerous label guest sets in some of the worlds top class chillout bars and lounges. She was a guest DJ at Savannah Beach Club, Cafe Del Mar owned SunSeaBar and Linekers Beach Bar.
Becki is delighted to be back in Scotland. On return from her season in Ibiza she gained a residency at Sin Nightclub in Edinburgh for the Ibiza themed nights, We Love Edenburgh, Addiction Thursdays. Becki also has a keen interest in glamour and fashion and has dj’ed for catwalk shows and fashion photoshoot parties in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Becki has dj’ed at Belladrum Festival and has experience of djing at prestigious venues such as Turnberry 5 star Resort and Oxenfoord Castle. Her high profile bookings include the Royal Botanic Gardens, Stuart Melville’s College- Battle of the Bands, Dunblane Hydro and the Corn Exchange. She has warmed up for hard house legend Lisa Pin Up at Audio, Glasgow, was a guest DJ at Medina Nightclub in Edinburgh and has played a set at Audio Soup Festival in the Abnormal Loads Dance Tent. In 2014, Becki was honoured to play as a headliner at the Royal Highland Show after party to a massive crowd of 6000 people at Ingliston, one of Scotland’s most prestigious events. She has also played a 3 hour festival set at Belladrum Tartanheart Festival. Becki is now a regular face at Shandwicks, as well as playing at numerous corporate events.
